The Beginning

This is how the whole project began. Not overly suspicious but certainly the beginning of things is not always relatively huge and overpowering. For example think about the size of a sperm. Capiche? I mean...how about the sperm that resulted in Attila the Hun? Who could have know that that little squiggily thing with the tail would end up at the head of a huge army of bipeds on horses and with chariots pillaging and burning across Asia and Europe? Huh??? It was the spying of this particular glove and the bending over and picking it up that began the whole thing. Not that I hadn't thought about single gloves before. I have. I did. I just never thought to pick them up and write about them as if the act and the object that caused the act really had any importance at all. It is a typical woven glove. Not unusual in any way. Might have been purchased anywhere at all. No interior labeling. Most probably an acrylic glove. Could be a wool blend. Can't tell. But it is black and it is from one of those areas of Brooklyn where grey and black are de rigueur. It is a left hand glove and the nap has retained bits of what appears to be plants remnants and leave leavings.
